Drone-based herbicide, fertilizer, seeding, and invasive species control for private landowners, agricultural producers, and agencies across the Northwest.
Drone application gets you precision treatment where ground equipment cannot go, with less soil disturbance, less drift risk, and better coverage on difficult terrain and sensitive landscapes.
XAG V40 precision drone application on Montana rangeland and cropland.
Pumpkin Insecticide — Spraying pumpkin crop field with organic insecticides and fertilizers.
Field Spraying — Broadcast spraying selective herbicide for knapweed in fields.
Every application is planned around your specific site conditions, target species or crop, and project goals. No one-size-fits-all treatments.
Targeted aerial spraying for cheatgrass, knapweed, houndstongue, leafy spurge, and other rangeland invaders. Precision application minimizes off-target impacts on adjacent vegetation.
Efficient aerial treatment where ground equipment is limited by terrain, crop stage, or field access. Consistent coverage with no soil compaction or crop damage from equipment traffic.
Even distribution of granular products across difficult or sensitive landscapes using the RevoCast system. Adjustable rates across irregular terrain with far less disturbance than mechanical spreaders.
Broadcast seeding for restoration, reclamation, and difficult-to-access areas. Effective for post-treatment revegetation, rangeland restoration, and erosion control on steep or remote terrain.
No complicated intake process. Three steps from first contact to boots on the ground.
Reach out using the quote form or email us directly. Tell us your location, approximate acreage, and what you are trying to treat or apply. We respond within one business day.
We review your site conditions, target species or crop, terrain, access, and any label or regulatory requirements. We discuss application timing, product selection, and any site-specific considerations before quoting.
Once scope and timing are confirmed, we plan and execute the mission. Pre-flight site evaluation, weather assessment, compliant application, and full documentation delivered after every job.
A purpose-built aerial application platform engineered for precision, repeatability, and FAA Part 137 agricultural compliance.
Variable rate precision herbicide and fertilizer delivery. Reduced drift risk within label and weather constraints. Targeted treatment without broad-area broadcast.
Consistent granular metering across irregular terrain. Even distribution for seed, dry chemical, and granular fertilizer applications. Suitable for restoration, reclamation, and erosion control.

Application records provided after every mission as required by project scope or regulatory requirements. Coordination with landowners and agency partners throughout.
JoeDan Aerial integrates precision drone technology with applied rangeland and agricultural knowledge to deliver targeted, responsible results.
Dan Morina serves as Pilot in Command for JoeDan Aerial Enterprises. He has operated small drones under Part 107 since 2016 and large agricultural drones under Part 137 exemption since 2023, and holds a Montana Certified Applicator license for aerial chemical application.
Dan's background in rangeland ecology, invasive species management, and wildlife habitat means he understands the land and the outcomes the work is meant to achieve, not just the mechanics of flying it. Every mission is approached with that context in mind.
Dan also operates Resource Management Specialists, LLC. providing wildlife habitat management plans and land stewardship services across the Northwest and Northern Plains.
